Hi. I'm sending these files (*.erl) because I've gotten problems with MapleStory ver 0.68, and a window appeared and showed me a message recommending me to send you them. The problem is the next:
Until the April 7th's update (Ver. 0.67), MapleStory was working perfect. On Wednesday, plenty hours after the new update (MapleStory Ver. 0.68), I had to format my computer (call it "A") because a virus, so I lost all Maple's files. I had the Maple Story's Ver. 0.66 installer, though. On Sunday, I got my computer "A" ready, so I installed MapleStory ver. 0.66. When it tried to download the patch, a message appeared saying that version was too old to upgrade. So, I uninstalled this version.
I tried to download the game client by the web site, but it didn't work. It only showed error messages. So, I tried copying all the MapleStory's files (that hadn't been upgraded yet to the Ver. 0.67) from my other computer (call it "B") and pasting them in computer "A". It was working, I mean, I opened MapleStory, and it started to download the patch and new files. It took a long time, but finally, it finished.
I had opened MapleStory Ver. 0.68, and I was trying to log in. I put my login ID and password, and when I tried to enter with my PIN, it said that was incorrect. I got angry, because I know my password and my PIN, and until last Tuesday and, even Wednesday, they worked.
I don't know if it works, but I went to the MapleStory's website. In my Account Info, I pressed the “Pin Reset” button. I though, it could have reset my security PIN, but I was wrong. Back in MapleStory, I tried to log in again, but it was the same: the Security PIN is invalid. After this, MapleStory was closed, and a window appeared (I caught that screen to send you as attachment. Its name is “Screen.png”) saying about a hacking program and those *.erl files.
So, I really wonder what happened with my account, why I couldn’t log in, and why I can’t play MapleStory. Just in case, I’m NOT a hacker, and I DON’T HAVE MapleStory hacking programs because I’m NOT a cheater. And, I almost forgot, my brother’s account is the same. He tried to log in but he couldn’t. It showed the same message as to me.
Please, I like this game, and I haven’t had too many problems (sometimes I got disconnected but I think that was because my internet connection). I hope you can help me. And I also want to know where and how to report hackers, because I have seen some of them when I was mapling, and I don’t like these cheater people. They make me angry.
